I am planning a trip to CH this Nov.

Anyone have any contacts for renting apartment located in Brinchang?

From the map, there are only 2, ie Star Regency and Bougainvilla.

Anyone has any contact for Bougainvilla? Is the place good? Is it within walking distance to Brinchang?

There are a few other apartments in Brinchang like Parkland and some which are above the shoplots.

I have been to both Star Regency and Bougainvilla and here are my opinion

Star Regency - Some rooms are good and some are really bad. The facilities are also not up to par. Good side about this place is that its located in town and just across the road from the weekend pasar malam

Bougainvilla - Quiet and secluded. (Ca be too quiet for some) Walking distance to a strawberry farm and the gold course. Possible to walk to bringchang town which will take you about 15-20 mins. Overall the rooms and finishings are better as they are privately owned units.

I have tried the contact (only 1 listed for Bougainvilla) from CH website. Do you have other contacts?

What about apartments in Tanah Rata? Have you tried any of them? Any good one to recommend?

As i will be going with family (kiddies along), so don't mind paying more for a comfortable and clean unit.

Hi, I am going to CH on 21/10/06, super peak period. But...managed to contact someone to rent a 3-room apartment unit at carnation apartment at very good price, get to know the person from this forum. However, still don't know the condition of that apartment yet, hope it won't disappoint us.

I've stayed at Parkland 3-rooms apartment when I went to CH in June. The place is very nice and clean. View is nice too, overlooking Brinchang town. Great for family.

I would suggest you try to call 05-4912366.
It's a 3 room apartment. each with its own bathroom. master bedroom comes with 2 queen beds. another two room has 2 single beds. there's a fridge, sofa, tv, dining table. can make coffee and tv but no cooking facilities. not sure if they provide that upon request or not. if you come from simpang pulai, it's on the right side, just after shell station. opposite parkland is iris hotel.

normal rate is abt RM350 but in Nov, I think price would be much much higher.
