I've just came back from Cameron Highlands. Bought and read your book and even travelled to Jalan Kamunting on the way to the Lutheran Mission house during the short break there.

At the end of your book, do you implied that the OSS or CIA with the knowledge of Jim Thompson's three friends - Dr Ling and wife and Constance Mangskau to plan and help his escape from Malaysia. But how did he escape to Tahiti without a passport as you have pointed out that he left his passport with Constance Mangskau ?

Would you care to elaborate ?

I gather the 1st edition of "solved" is now out of print. Do you know of any book shop in Malaysia it is still being sold?

You’re right... The 1st edition of “SOLVED! (ref. ISBN 1-932205-89-6) is now out of print. It is no longer sold at any of the bookshops in Singapore and Malaysia.

Hi there,

Bought your book from Time Tunnel on Friday and just finished reading it. Very interesting read. I also spent about 2 hours in Time Tunnel looking and admiring the old things inside. It's a good place to spend time especially for those who like things from the past.

On the way to Brinchang, I wanted to turn off to Jalan Kamunting to explore the area but it has started to rain and getting dark. It was close to 3pm. Decided to go there again another time.
