I have the same experence as yours but you are better becouse you were sitting in
the coach for 6 hours but ours we need to get down from the coach and waited
under the hot sun for an hour becouse the engine of the coach stop. When we requested
the driver for the AC, his reply was simple " engine down air cond down ". So no
choice but to wait for help. Then comes a red coach who pull to the side infront
of us and check out with the driver, some discussion & later we were ask to board
the coach. Once we boarded the coach to our suprise it's so different as compare
to the earlier KURNAI BISTARI Coach. The seats are so comfortable and clean. Can
say that its better then the Air Asia seats. We don't have to go through the noisy
sound like the one earlier.
After arriving Tanah Rata then only we realise the coach we took belongs to UNITITI
EXPRESS. Infact our guest house staff had told us to take Unititi the day before if
we were to depart to Cameron Highlands. But once we reach PUDU RAYA we were restrain
from looking out for Unititi's counter by the touts. They told us that it's cheaper
and the coach will leave earlier as compare to Unititi Express. So we listen to the
touts and purchase the Kurnia ticket at RM28.00 from a touts and not the counter.
We also bought the Unititi Express coach tickets to Penang after our visit. It's
a normal coach as compare to the one we took from Kuala Lumpur (VIP Coach), one
thing it's clean and also the leg rest was really comfortable. So my advice to
those who would like to travel to Cameron Highlands from Kuala Lumpur or Penang,
don't listen to the touts and just go over to their counter.
