I am planning to visit CH on 6-7 June 2010 and after reading the review in various website, i plan to put a nite at Titiwangsa Hotel. Is it very far from the pasar malam and is the steamboat charcoal ?
we will be going there via simpang pulai...so is it very far from there ?

It's just 5-10 minutes walk from the hotel, depends how fast you can walk.
As i know, the hotel did not serve charcoal steamboat.
If you are coming through Simpang Pulai, you will be passing by Kampung Raja, Kuala Terla, Tringkap, Kea Farm, then only Brinchang.
Usually from Simpang Pulai to Brinchang will takes about One and Half Hours drive, but this is not during peak season. It took more times during peak season.

Hi Vincent,
Good choice! Titiwangsa is a nice and inexpensive place to stay. I had stayed there for 3 nights before. Breakfast and Steam-boat dinner are provided and inclusive. Well at night you may walk to Bringchang town. Night market is on during weekends and throughout school holidays. If you prefer to go to Tanah Rata such as "Starbuck" etc you will need a taxi. Frankly not much at night, Cameron is more for relaxing. Have a nice holiday.

Sorry Vincent,
Second day you can walk/visit the "Big Red Strawberry Farm and Cactus Valley". Next to each other. Both are at Bringchang town and within walking distance not far from the Hotel Passadena and Star Regency Hotel. To Kea Farm, Tea Plantation you need to go by Taxi.

Vincent,
On your second day : check out with the reception on the local tours.
Go for the Nature Discovery Tour, which covers the Tea Plantation, going
to the highers peak of Cameron Highlands. It also covers the Mossy forest.
There are alot to see and do in Cameron Highlands but it's related more
on nature and Agro sectors. This is a place for relax and rest.
Have a nice and happy holidays

Hi All,
Thank you for all the recommendation. When we walk around the market, I found the office of Titiwangsa tour, so we decide to upgrade the basic city tour and take the Nature Discovery Tour. It's so good and enjoyable, both my parents have a good trip.

I mean take the Nature Discovery Tour the next day. The driver is friendly and explain to us the places we visited throughout the journey. Highly recommended..
