SinChee I am looking at it from another perspective. We now have a few option to choose from.

If you are in a hurry, then go for the service that gets you there the fastest. But it comes with less toilet breaks and the bus may travel at a faster speed. With a faster bus comes an element of risk if the driver don't have enough rest because of the tighter schedule to meet.

If you have the luxury of time, then opt for the slower service. Hopefully the trip down the hill will not be so demanding and it would be easier on your bladder during the whole trip. Especially true for old people like me. And you don't have to limit your fluid intake. The driver will also have an appropriate amount of rest, during the breaks, for the whole trip. More conducive for the driver to staying alert. I am not saying they will not have any accidents, just that I believe with an alert driver you have a lesser chance of human error.

Decision is yours to make. Not going to comment which is good or bad. Just as long as the bus reaches your destination and within their scheduled timing, they would have fulfill their part of the service.

Just my point of view.
Joanna CS bus is very slow, have a lot of stops along the way.not 4 hours but 6 hours
Kang Chuen Wai GT bus is NOT SAFE at all because their permit is not to operate the bus from KL to Cameron...beware...lots of complain nowdays regarding GT...sppedy, reckless driver, drunken driver, etc....BEWARE....CS much more better...service really good..
