Paudda: Equatorial has the best location in Cameron Highlands and i think that's their only sell point. The sad news is, they don't have an attached balcony for each of their rooms and you have to request for it. I can't recall the name of the suite room that i stayed in last time as my hubby was the one who booked and did all the check-in procedures. I was outside the lobby stealing the pea-sized roses.(oops)
However, all the balconies in Cameron Highlands are just pathetically tiny. You can't even move the chairs out as the door as the opening is just big enough for one person to walk through. I'm not sure about the apartments and i'm terribly sorry that i can't comment on that. All my visits were done with my hubby so there wasn't a need for an apartment just for the two of us.
Generally speaking, the scenic mountain-top location that you get should be more than enough to compensate the other down sides of Equatorial. I could be biased but trust me, you'll like the morning view of the mountains.
