Re:Hotel Chua Gin (Brinchang) - 2008/06/03 10:31 No worry at all, at Bandar Baru Brinchang. There are many other new lodgings. They are also new, clean and quiet. They also comes with a few ASTRO channels and you can even boil water in your room. Tudor Home Inn is not the only one. I saw it before but I forgot their names. Sorry for any inconveniences caused.

Re:Hotel Chua Gin (Brinchang) - 2008/08/07 15:13 Just back from Cameron. Have a unpleasant experience with this hotel. I have read the comment on this website and found block B's room is recommended. I have get confirmation from them on the room location before I made advance payment (via bank in), they promised to reserve me Block B's room.

But during check in, i was told all rooms are full and only left block A's room. Block B's room only available on the 2nd day, i can switch if i want on 2nd day. Feel like being cheated but the payment has been made, i have no choice but take the room, just hopes that the room is not too bad.

The room looks clean but saw one cockroach in the cabinet, room also small and smelly because it is facing the the street, back side of a few restaurants. The window can't close tightly as the size was not fit to the frame.

I prompt to the counter ask for switching to another room, but no room available at all. Again i have no choice but stay, just wish to change the room on the second day. After back to the room, found the sink is block, didn't made any complaint since 2nd day will switch room. Anyway, the Malay lady is very kind and she provide us a fan.

I join tour on 2nd day, so i told the counter i will only back to switch room around two, i was told its fine. During second day, i was hanging around the counter, again i told the chinese lady that i will be back late to switch my room, she is fine with it. But when almost reach time for tour bus coming, the lady ask us to switch room immediately as they cant hold the room for us. I decided not to switch room because i don't want to miss my bus. But i told her the sink in bath room is block, she promised will fix it. However, after come back from tour, the sink remain unfix. I decide not to complaint anymore but to share my experience in this forum. Honestly, paying 148/two night is cheap but it is not value for money.

For those who want to stay in this hotel for more than one night, i would suggest not to pay full amount in advance. At least you have a choice to look for others alternative if the 1st day stay is unpleasant.

I hanging around Brinchang and found another hotel located opposite the cactus valley which looks nice but i forgot the hotel name. The rate is 80/nite during weekend. As it is new shop lot, guess the room will be cleaner and the services counter girl quite nice.

Re:Hotel Chua Gin (Brinchang) - 2008/09/02 18:16 Hi!! i have just back from CH and after read others visitor comment on Chua Gin Hotel, i worry and changing my plan to Rainbow Hotel but badly it was full booking too....

I have find out another new hotel located in front of Iris Hotel with name of Titiwangsa Hotel. This trip i can't have a chance to stay in due to full booking ... anyone have begin stay in and please send a comment on it bcoz i have plan to try stay in on next month trip..

This trip finally satify with walk-in Parkland Hotel located beside Brinchang Hotel.
1. Room cleanlines satisfy too
2. Water Heater produce hot water with stable temperature until 1am morning (not same as others visitor comment on Chua Gin & Brinchang Hotel). It is important for who bring along children.
3. No air-Cond and fan produce, only use CH natural air with window open. I stay at right side room on 3rd floor feel windly and cool air even afternoon time stay at room.
4. Room size a little small (almost same size with 1st World hotel GH standard room) but still acceptable for 2 adults with 2 child .. ok lah
5. Room Rate at CH still higher... Double Room with RM148+15% Tax & Service Charge, total on bill charge is RM170.20/nite on 30th & 31st.
6. Hotel Location is satify too
- Walk to KFC around 2min
- Walk to Nite Market around 8min
- Walk to Shell Station around 2min
- Close with many restoran as 'OK Tuck', food court & many shop
- Car Parking area also many, easy and near to hotel

Next trip, will plan for new Titiwangsa Hotel but if can't get it will stay back to Parkland Hotel.
