YEs i agree, i visited CH last week June 2006. All most all the ppl at CH are very kind and thr response to your queries is very polite. Thanks for all the ppl at CH.
My bad expereince is only with the bus from KL to CH (ie) Kurnia Bistari bus service, The coach was badly maintained, seats were dirty and dusty. This coach was break down at THAPA then the coach driver asked us to change the bus (The local bus at THAPA). the local bus was again a camel ride with lots of problem on the way. So I recommend you guys to book ur tickets at "Unititi Express" (operates KL to Cameron highlands to KL). my return way was smooth and enjoyable with unittit express.
I thank all the people at Cameron highlands for thr best and polite response for my queries.
To eat, Hotel suria at TANA RATA is good place, clean food (Indian food) is available 24 hours open.
