CON SHOP RESTAURANT SILVERSTAR ( next to hotel Chua Gin)
I was told in the morning at the Silver star by a gentle looking man, the steam boat meat no buffet, vegetable buffet $30 for 2 pax. (they only give chicken and egg and 3 small prawns, other shop give much more variety)
at the end, when I came and ate in the pm, I had to pay extra $0.5 for a cup of water, $1 for rice and $6 for about 10 pc of mush room all in I pay extra $8, when I asked them about the buffet vegetable, the tau ke nio said, no such thing, so I was looking for the guy who told me in the morning, but I could not find him. At the same time the minute when we said we dont want to order any more food, the waiter started to clear the table while we are ststill eating just because we are not going to order any more food. so we are being chased out in thhat sense.
so cut the long story short, stay away from Restaurant Silver star (right at the Brinchang Town), when I came back, my sister had similar experience. the tau ke nio is short,not so friendly looking, and bear in mind the location of this shop is so good that most probably you will end up there because of the town street layout, and the local people all know the rotten story, if you ask the people from the minimart near by. if you need more infor, please let me know.. it is not the matter of $6, it is cheating.
