Re:First family trip to CH 21/7/08-23/7/08 - 2008/09/09 19:39 Hi Ong, Alvin's steamboat was self prepared at the apartment he rented. I suppose he bought the foods from the market or the supermarket.

Well you may go to O.K. Tuck, Hou You restaurant or the Oldies & Goodies. All three are at Brinchang. Oldies & Goodies is opposite the Cactus Valley. Do not I repeat, Do not go to SilverStar Restaurant. Many of us had bad experiences, some call it cut throat, you will pay more than what they first tell you. The three that I recommend are Rm 18 per adult. Siver Star will tell you Rm 12.50 but the final bill is about Rm 20 per head. And the portion of food is limited. The others are all very fair.

Re:First family trip to CH 21/7/08-23/7/08 - 2008/09/09 23:51 Ong, if you had read the review of the journey, you would have realised that we went to the charcoal steamboat restaurant at Highlands Restaurant.

Re:First family trip to CH 21/7/08-23/7/08 - 2008/09/10 03:54 Ong, I have absolutely no idea what you are saying. I'll only answer the questions i think i understand. Next time, search the forums first or better still, read the review i wrote. I spent time writing it for a reason!

Highlands Restaurant charged me RM14 per person.

*This part will not help you with directions* I recently visited the hot spring during the Merdeka weekend when i visited my relatives in Gua Musang. Don't waste your time. The place is dirty and smelly. I heard from my relatives that ppl go there to boil eggs. I personally will not go there. I don't really know the directions cos I was not driving but i'm quite sure its just on the roadside between gua musang and CH.

Re:First family trip to CH 21/7/08-23/7/08 - 2008/11/10 21:04 Hi all, can you kindly recommend places other than T-Cafe that have good scones? I will be in CH on Sunday and T-Cafe is closed on Sundays!
