Hi...i went to Restoran Bunga Suria located in Tanah Rata during my visit to Cameron Highlands...after a while having breakfast, i asked for tissues and the owner replied to me and saying that i have to buy it for RM0.40 cents...what a surprise, why this restaurant do not give plain tissue?
Another case, why this restaurant charging RM 0.40 cents for a cup of plain water? Where got shops charging so much of money for plain water? As i knew, government has imposed free of charge for plain water in Malaysia...why this restaurant charging the public?
Somemore the restaurant oni looks clean, but the food really not tasty and expensive, just imagine lah, i took breakfast for 7 adults, as normal as in gerais, it cost me RM 51.00!!!!
Someone pls take action, or boikot this shop...TEACH THEM A LESSON!!!!

Never mind! What comes around goes around. There is a word we call it retribution and there is a term we called it self-inflicting karma. If many of the F&B operators in Cameron Highlands dare to charge such a high & exorbitant unreasonable prices to tourists or consumers, they might one day ended up as the "Niagara Falls Tea Party" incident in Canada.
Anyone who used to stay and travel in Canada will know that all the Niagara Falls F&B operators are nothing but pure bloodsuckers. E.g. if you visit a common and regular deli shop (we are not talking about expensive and fancy F&B outlet here) in Vancouver to buy a piece of non-flavoured croissant, it might cost you the most CND$1.20, or else its usual price is around CND$0.80 to CND$1.00 only. But the same thing in a common and regular (I'm not talking about porsch or fancy F&B outlets) around Niagara Falls will cost you CND$5.00 per piece! That is nothing but obvious daylight robbery.
This situation has been going on around Niagara Falls for decades, despite its numerous complaints by consumers, the Canadian government is not able to do much about this situation because the prices of these items are not controlled under the Canadian law or constitution.
Until one day, the Canadian consumers got fed up and really working hand-in-hand with various Canadian consumer group e.g.Canadian Consumers' Co-operative Societies and etc and summon a nationwide cum international boycott and demonstration to all the filthy money maniac F&B operators around Niagara Falls by bringing their own food and drinks (mostly they brought hot tea, that's why it was called a tea party) in the year 2002 (I forgot which month) and eat it in these "evil" F&B operators premises to show their anger toward this matter.
Only then, the F&B operators around Niagara Falls show drastic improvement in product pricing and charge a slightly higher but much more reasonable prices to their food and drinks. Well, I don't want to see similar incidents or any boycott happened to most of the F&B operators in Cameron Highlands. At the same time, Cameron Highlands district councils and all the F&B operators must really do something about the serious fly (lalat in Malay) infested situations before somebody or a group of people really suffer from any fly infested food poisoning or disease! Have a nice day.

Don't waste your breath on this matter. These unscrupulous, greedy and evil F&B operators in Cameron Highalnds (I don't mean all the F&B operators in Cameron Highlands, just the bad apples among them) will never satisfied and they will never listen to your words. They will only learn their lesson after "they really kena a BIG BOMB" like what happened to the evil F&B operators who sell a plain croissant for CND$5.00 around Niagara Falls.
These no conscience and evil F&B operators in Cameron Highlands will eventually receive their bad karma and rtributions like what you mentioned. They only care about their spouses and children. Other people's spouses and children are not humans, only their family members are humans. It's not because they did not earn enough profit to pay their car or house loans and other loans. It's because these evil F&B operators in Cameron Highlands did not managed to earn enough dirty money to satisfy the luxury needs e.g. buying expensive jewellery, NIKE shoes, Nintendo Wii, Playstation 3, nice and fancy mobile phone, branded attire and perfume or annual overseas trip of their family members. Only their children and spouses or other family members deserve a good life from year to year. The rest of Malaysians' spouses, children or family members can go to hell. This is how their mentality work.
So it is useless to talk to these no 良心 (conscience) and greedy animal-behave evil Cameron Highlands F&B operators. Let them "kena kau-kau one time", then they will know!!!

This is a personal observation.
Generally the prices are high for almost all the eateries. Just that there are some culprits who really charge outrageous amount. They are the ones who will leave a "bad-taste" for visitors to CH.
I wonder how the CH residents eat out????

It is very sad to know that we have this kind of "bad apples" among the F&B operators in Cameron Highlands. If nobody is going to do something about it and get rid these bad apples, sooner or later it will definitely destroy the reputation of the service and toursim industry in Cameron Highlands or even on national level after a really big and serious case brought up to the mass media or international cable TV. Talking about F&B outlets, I really have to say that the shop houses in Brinchang is obviously and absolutely infested with flies or we call it lalat in Malay. My God! It is so bad that is not even funny. I think the tourism department and Cameron Highlands district council have to do something serious and quick about it. It is so unhygiene!!!

i rent out a room at the second floor from the Suria Restaurant Owner...but that fella keep on chasing me for the rental money every day!!!he's like not seen money before!!! Very bad example of a businessman...

Well, this is how Malaysian works. We have to wait a certain problem or issue happened in full "BOOM" before we want to handle it or solve it. Never mind, let the authority clean up the GIGANTIC mess after this issue we are talking about exploded whether on local or global scale. Ciao! Have a nice trip in Cameron Highlands!
