Re:Road Condition - 2007/11/21 13:59 Road condition excellent. Just ignore little tell-tale signs of previous landslides.

Re:Road Condition - 2007/11/21 16:53 Hi,

Just came back last Sunday. The road is fine. Just becareful when it is raining as the water from the hillside can make the road slippery. Drive slowly.

Re:Road Condition - 2007/11/22 13:26 Hi, thanks for your advise.
Can you advise where I can get the nice Chinese foods with resonable price at CH? Becos, my mother prefer Chinese foods. Thanks.

Re:Road Condition - 2007/11/23 10:29 Chinese food is widely available in CH but you must be careful as they can be quite expensive due to some unethical biz practice. I usually avoid shops that do not display any menu and prices. There is this shop in Tanah Rata - Orient Star which has recently relocated to another shop on the same row. Prices are quite ok as they have set lunch and dinner menu with prices displayed at the entrance. They serve western too. Is is located on the left side as you enter Tanah Rata from Ringlet. Just go to the row of shops just before the Pos Office. Hope this helps.

Re:Road Condition - 2007/11/23 13:53 Hi Tony,

Many thanks for your info.
Genting Highland will be the next place that we plan to go after CH. Which are the easy way/road toward Genting Highland? Can you advise. Thanks.

Re:Road Condition - 2007/11/23 15:07 You can use the North South Highway from CH to get to Genting. Going southbound make sure you exit at Tanjung Malim and head towards Rawang using the old trunk road. After Kuala Kubu Baru junction watch out for signboard on your left indicating a left turn to Genting. It is located near a traffic light. You can't miss it. It is easier getting to Genting from here than going through KL. Since you are going to Genting why not stop for a night at Frasers Hill before going to Genting. It is on the way there near Kuala Kubu Baru
