Re:CH's Top Eateries 2006 - 2007/04/24 13:56 my first visit to ch was only soon after i got married, i went there 4 honeymoon, last december..i've 1 idea 4 you in order to keep all your flowers still fresh,4 at least 2-3 weeks or sometimes maybe up to 1 month.u juz put your flowers in a jar or whatevr container that u hv then pour the water in the jar. then, u juz add in 1 tablet of panadol in the jar.after that juz leave ur flowers like that.the freshness may last 4 about 2-3 weeks. jus like that!!so easy right...give a try...i did the same thing to my flowers..

Re:CH's Top Eateries 2006 - 2007/10/12 19:01 Hi Frederick, i'm here to help u...
If u want to stay in Brinchang, Star Regency is a not bad choice.
To eat, i suggest u go to Tanah Rata Mamak stall.
Or any chinese stall at brinchang that sell normal noodle. For special offer u can go to You He (next to Joo Seng mini market in brinchang) or OK Tuck.
Don't forget to visit Tan's Camellia Garden
in Tanah Rata if u really like plants.
Enjoy ur stay...

Re:CH's New Eatery - 2007/11/05 17:38 During Raya Festival I when to CH and discover a new restaurant (Goldies & Oldies Restaurant) this is an NON-HALAL restaurant.

It serve delicious Roast Chicken, Pork, Duck combination with rice or wanton mee or porridge at a very very reasonable price & I would consider cheap. Besides if you think you do not like the above, you may oop for ala-cart whereby they have a in-house chef.

I have a family dinner at the restaurant and the and the chef foods is absolutely wonderful. Do check up with their dinner course menu?

Re:recent trip - 2007/11/28 11:16 you are not wrong abt Smokehouse.
Even the one in Fraser's Hill is suffering from Bad service levels.
My dinner took more than an hour to reach...

Re:chinese food - 2007/12/01 20:29 Has anyone tried the Strawberry ice cream, Strawberry milkshake, waffle, scones and the fresh strawberries at Raju's Strawberry farm? The farm is located just on the opposite side of the road from Equatorial Hotel. Nothing like freshly plucked strawberries coated with cream and honey .. yum! yum! Raju and wife are really friendly people. They also make good strawberry jam. You should try the waffle and scones with fresh strawberries .. heaven !
Try also the vietnamese beef noodles at Palm leaf .. thats good. Mayflower is good for steamboat. There use to be a good, charcoal fired steamboat at highland hotel at brinchang. I think they relocated to somewhere near palm leaf.

Re:BEST food is t'cafe - 2007/12/09 17:43 i've been to cameron highlands many times because i love the weather. recently i've discovered a new fantastic place in tanah rata. its called SUMMER PALACE. its located on top of hong kong restaurant in tanah rata. how can i describe this place? i was shocked when i first arrive in summer palace, as if i was some where overseas. its just doesnt look like malaysia at all, superb interior, the founders had put lots of effort in to the place to give their customer a different feel. the food is something different from what you have everyday. they have food from tibet, mongolia, and xinjiang and i heard there'll be more to come around the world. not to forget the staff which are superly friendly. i felt warm and happy while im here. oh ya , they play really good music too, and party starts from 10pm onwards and cheap beers. you guys out there should really really really check it out! you wont regret it, trust me!
