Hotel Chua Gin (Brinchang) - 2007/03/16 14:51 Hi Team,

Jux wanna some things wif u all abt this hotel...tis hotel located at the heart of the brinchang town..kind of strategic..We stayed 4 one night here.. at first we doubt if this hotel is clean enough to stay the price of 78 bucks...

Gosh..the moment we stepped into the room...the outlook of the hotel prove us wrong man..no wonder there;s saying "Never judge a book by its cover" n this is indeed true.. the room was clean n facing the shop lots..thou it was behind n not facing the main road but is good.. if i'm not mistaken, the block we stayed was Block B..at the corner..block next 2 Rosa Passadena..Got T (but onli channel 1 & 2 la), Kettle, hot shower..wat u expect man..78 bucks wo..consider ok liao..

Re:Hotel Chua Gin (Brinchang) - 2007/03/27 09:21 Hi Aivie.
Happy to know that you have a great stay there, did you try their restaurant? steamboat? with the hotel key chain you can ask for discount and ask more more free vege, and with a good chat with the lady boss, you can even bring back some of the vege. because the owner is farmer too, this is some good time I had.

Regards,
Lew

Re:Hotel Chua Gin (Brinchang) - 2007/05/24 20:21 Patrons beware, we went beginning of the year and found out that they charged the room based on their criterias. We were curious and asked around and I found this out because we were given a lousy room. The prices fluctuate from RM40 to RM350! Stay in other apartments is at the safer side.

Re:Hotel Chua Gin (Brinchang) - 2007/05/30 02:19 Malaysia mid-year school holiday is from 26 May to 10 June. It is peak season, so they will quote max rate for accommodation (and other expenses). Be prepared for the crowd and traffic jams too! Chua Jin is a family business so during the high demand and low supply season, rooms are quoted without real fixed price depending on supply, demand and some luck. Walk-in rate may also differ, if there are still rooms, for different times. Regulars will know the going range (which is wide) from experience and will book real early to avoid the last-minute crowd from pushing up the rates. If you are quoted a very high rate, ask for the best room and it's likely they are almost full on that day and they will surely quote high. Good luck!

Re:Hotel Chua Gin (Brinchang) - 2007/05/30 14:41 Anyone knows if this Chua Gin hotel rooms condition is ok or not? (Clean or not)? Cos I am bringing my 3 yr old son and I cannot stand dirty/dusty carpets, sofa or unwashed bed linens. Also toilet condition.
And by the way, if RM 198 for double beds is expensive than the usual rate of RM 170 but at least u manage to get the room! Cos I asked and its fully booked already.
Another thing, they offered RM 148 for 2 Double & 1 Single Bed Suite...but they say its the old block. (Not A & From the sound of it, like a budget room?? Anyone any comments on this?

Re:how to book this place? - 2007/05/31 17:54 So what is the probelm? we are living in an automated era so booking on line is the norm, gone are the days where you make booking by phone calls or by faxes and such, you get the drift?
