when is the road being closed? - 2006/07/17 18:02
Just left highlands yedterday, and got to know that the big covered sign at the junction of Convent school and Heritage Hotel , and it was written JALAN AKAN DITUTUP !. What is that?
I am just wondering why the Cameron Highlanders dont voice out their unhappiness regarding road closure which will be only told to the public at the last minute?
Even when (TERMINAL FREESIA)the bus station/ public car park( WHAT A JOKE!!!) has beem ready, nobody made any noise?
And every corner of Tanah Rata going to be flatten again to build more shoppes and houses/apartment for whom? Greedy locals?
I bought an apartment in Tanah Rata only to find pout that i cannot change the title to my name( even though i have paid finish my loans), because the developer has mortaged the entire property to the bank!!!!
What next? Is there enough water to cater to all this new projects?
In this country there are not many places like this beautifull highlands, pleaselah, protect and preserve it, all you guys need uyp there are proper hospital, schools,and good public transport. Not more hotel and apartments!!!!!
And also , a good town board council which have some common sense when comes to decoration and colours!!! I think Petaling jaya has more beautiful trees and flowers pots then Tanah Rata and Brinchang.........
Hah, Brinchang, that pasar malam, walking there is a nightmare, has the town council got no brains? There is an ugly metal arch with very 70's looking colourfull bulps, which mentions the pasar malam, but there is no walkway.....It is crazy to walk there with kids and old people, oh , I forgot, this is still Mlaysia, life is to too cheap, why care..............
