 Kurnia Bistari bus company - 2006/07/07 12:10 A note of warnign to all travellers thinking of buying a ticket from Kurnia Bistari.
Our driver drove like a frustrated racing driver. Our luggage fell out of the hold, it was really lucky I noticed it happening and could run down the road to get it, just as locals were loading the bags into their truck. Since we arrived 3 days ago, we have met 5 more people who have lost their bags whilst on Kurnia Bistari buses to CH, and the company just laughed at them. So please, be careful!

I suggest that travellers do not take Kunia Bistari to Cameron. Unititi bus provide excellenct service to Cameron and back to KL. Besides the bus is spacious, clean and in tip top condition!

I remember you gave me the name of a bus company. You said it was counter 66 but I decided to drive my car. Is Untiti bus the same company?

I must second Rachel and Sweetlinki. I had similar experiences, the first driver was good and thoughtful, the second was mad and the door was open. As you know Kurnia had an accident where several people were injured and died, in CH and somewhere else. You may read my travel story last year 2005

 Re:Kurnia Bistari bus company - 2006/07/08 10:56 Hi, I have also met people in CH over the last couple of days whos bags simply werent on the coach when they arrived here. Be careful when travelling from Penang via Butterworth - it's suspected the bags could have been off loaded there.

 Re:Kurnia Bistari bus company - 2006/07/08 14:31 its quite normal for locals dealing with this kind of attitude by the Regal Bus Company and Kurnia Bistari Express...both of the company owned by same owner....the problem is no (zero) actions from the police even sometimes they dont have road tax and insurance...especially their tourists land rovers and vans....tourists must beware of this because this is dangerous in case anything happens....so...moral of the story....boycott them......

So sad that i just read the forum. I just back from CH yesterday. taken the bus KURNIA BISTARI... the driver smoke in a WARM bus... Imagine... how suffer is the ppl inside there...beside that the bus become TOWN bus that pick up customer here n there...
how come when we cant find another bus company in the tanah rata station???
