 weather and food concerns - 2004/04/02 14:06 Hi,

I'm planning to go to CH sometime at the end of April and I was wondering how is the weather like there?

ALso, is it easy for us to get transport from our hotels (Strawberry park or The Lakehouse) to the other major towns (Tanah Rata and Brinchang) for food?

 Re: weather and food concerns - 2004/04/06 12:12 Hard to predict the weather for end of April but it is quite nice presently with intermittent showers in the afternoons.

As for transport for meals, the Hotel can call the cab for you but it may be a bit expensive. The hotels mentioned do have their own transport but I do not know if they will ferry you to town FOC for meals. You will have to ask them.

I'm going to CH very soon and just wandering if I have to take any medicine to prevent the Malaria?

 Re: weather and food concerns - 2004/04/14 00:08 NO, malaria is only found in the jungle interiors and maybe the deeper Orang ASli settlement. If you dont plan to visit these areas, then you are safe.
