Re:Train to Tapah Road, and then? - 2008/11/17 16:48 I believe you have to take a taxi from the train station to the bus station. It is a distance away. So walking is out of the question.

From the bus station, you can take the bus to CH. Take the Regal bus. As for the timing, please go to this (under Tapah to Tanah Rata)

For Taxi information, please go to this

Skip the bus section, if you are planning to taking the cab straight all the way from the train station to CH. But please confirm the fare before boarding.

Re:Train to Tapah Road, and then? - 2008/11/17 17:41 Thanks SinChee,

I am thinking to take a taxi from train station to bus station. From lonelyplanet said it costs RM7 to hop on a taxi to the bus station, is it true?

What is Regal Bus?

If i take a cab from train station str8 away down to CH, how much it gonna cost?

Re:Train to Tapah Road, and then? - 2008/11/18 09:24 Never tried taking a train to Tapah. So cannot answer your questions on the fare. Likewise for the cab ride to CH. If you look at the link, it would give you a rough estimate on the cost. I suspect it may cost you more, depending on the time of day.

As for the Regal bus, it is a bus company. Go ask around, the people there are pretty helpful. They will tell you what is the timing of the bus and where the bus will be. It is not that complicated and at times it is very obvious. There was only one bus there....

On a side note, may I ask where you will be travelling from? Travelling by train to Tapah, and than to CH, doesn't seems to be a very common option to take. I could be wrong here..
