 3-bedroom apartment in Strawberry park resort - 2008/11/18 23:06 Hi, My family and I are planning to go to CH during this coming Chinese new year. We have 6 adults and 2 kids so thinking to stay in apartment type to save some cost. I'm comtemplating the 3 bedroom apartment between Strawberry park and Equatorial hotel. Anybody has stayed in their apartment before ? Could you give me some comment about their apartment standard compared to their hotel room, e.g cleanliness, space, comfort ?? Thanks.

 Re:3-bedroom apartment in Strawberry park resort - 2008/11/19 11:36 Planning for a trip to cameron as well this comming end of December. Considered this Strawberry Park Resort but have no idea if it is worth the stay. Waiting for more feedback as well.

No regrets staying in Strawberry Park as I spend my holiday last year and I will be going there again end of this month. The room is nice and the staff is courteous and service is fast too. And I love the massage session at the spa. Imagine reaching there at 12 midnite and i was attended by a helpful staff without any difficulties. However, as been said, prepare to pay for it

I will take that with a pinch of salt.... It is very subjective, especially when you call them THE BEST!

I know of a few people who will violently object to that statement, beside those hotel operators in CH. Especially those who encountered very bad experience at the resort.

In my point of view, they are OK. Good place, and nice ambience.... but not the best, well not yet.

 Re:3-bedroom apartment in Strawberry park resort - 2008/11/19 14:26 err....i beg to differ. a decade ago, i stayed at their 3 bedroom apartment. the 3rd room was more like an attic - very tiny. & the water coming out from the taps were a trickle. imagine when u r taking a shower & the trickle is icy cold....brr...brr...

but well things would/should have changed by now.

But mine is a one bedroom type. Rooms are reasonably clean but you will love the exclusive environment. You will get daily rebate from the room rate. The rebate can be use for F & B or at the SPA.

Service is good or may be I am not the demanding type. I have no problem with utilities supply. But I must tell you for hot water bath, you need to wait for few mins before water get heated up. Once after my wife's shower, I was showering with ice cold water. Reason is because the water heater has a limited capacity and need time to heat up after each shower. My wife enjoys the hot shower for too long and I went in immediately after her and almost frozen. Ha... Ha...

Dont let this bother you too much. Just get ready to enjoy a good holiday. Too many comments and of course there will be some negative one. So are you going to stay in the open if there isn't any expected hotel in C H. Standard is a very subjective matter. Judge for yourself when you are there. Very most dont stay there again if you dislike it.

FYI, i just recently come back from CH trip last week. I was staying in apartment in Royal Lily. As soon as i open the main entrance of the apartment and stepped inside the unit , to my surprise, their apartment is superb clean and neat. I never tot of a holiday apartment will be so well-maintained even better than my own house. ;P...
the owner is friendly as well. if you are interest of knowing the location of this apartment, i willing to share with u..

I am planning a trip to CH early Dec. 5 adults + 3kids.
It is quite costly to stay in a hotel, hence I am considering an apartment instead. I am just worried about the condition.
Glad to know that the apartments are well maintained, can you share more?

they have a website and luckily i manage to retrieve their site address from one of the post in this forum..
