Parkland Apartment - 2008/08/04 18:16 I'm going to Cameron Highland on 15th - 17th August with a group of friends. Since it is the school holidays, most of the apartments and bungalows in Tanah Rata were fully booked. I got 1 apartment in Brinchang called Parkland Apartment. They do not have a website so I'm not sure how's the apartment look like. It'll be my first time in Cameron Highlands and most of my friends havent been there for ages. Can anybody tell me. If you have ever stayed at Parkland Apartment before. thanks a lot!

Re:Parkland Apartment - 2008/08/25 09:50 We finally stayed at Parkland Apartment. It is located at Brinchang in the town area and on a hill. The apartment is beautiful and clean. The external design is english. It has a small garden at the side of the building. The parking area is filled with roses red and yellow. All balconies are facing the Titiwangsa Hotel, the Golf Course at hole 12 i think and of course the parking area with the roses. It is nearby the cactus valley and other interesting places. During my stay we went to equatorial every night for karaoke so its convenient. The rate is not bad RM460/night peak. There are 3 bedrooms with attached bathroom each. The living area and kitchen area are big. I recommend everyone to stay there. No complaints.

Re:Parkland Apartment - 2008/11/12 13:29 i just book a apartment in Parkland Apartment on end of Nov'2008, the price on phone they let me know is RM 360. But after i transfer my money of RM360 to them, then only they tell me is RM 460, & when i said i want to cancel then she tell me cancel will not refundable.
This hotel is cheated ppl, i advise ppl dunt go for there, cause i really ask vry vry clear abt the price. They are cheatted ppl.

Re:Parkland Apartment - 2008/11/12 15:02 Wow...

If this is true, then it is a new way to force unsuspected victims to pay more.

Quote a low price, first, and after the transfer tell the victim that he/she has to pay more. Otherwise the transferred amount gets confiscated. A win-win situation for them and we are at a disadvantage.

I guess it is a good practice to ask them to quote in black and white. Otherwise it is hard to pursue the matter with the proper authority.

I feel for you Patrin.....

Hope this is a lesson for other netizen if they are planning to stay in that hotel.

Re:Parkland Apartment - 2008/11/12 15:06 Patrin... look at the post on Complaints (this section).

I suggest you seek their assistance. See if they can help you in getting your refund.

Re:Royal Lily Apartment - 2008/11/13 12:13 after ready patrin's postings, i'm worried too. i've just called to book the above apartment & the person quoted me rm250/night on 7th dec (raya haji eve). he then sms-ed me to pay a deposit of rm200 first. now i'm doubtful as to the balance i'll have to pay when i check-in.

any advice/shared experience is welcome.

Ask them to fax, or email, you the quote. This can be use as proof, if there is any change of position on their part. Can also be use if you need to make a formal complaint.

Just a suggestion.

Re:Royal Lily Apartment - 2008/11/18 09:43 dear sin chee, tq 4 the suggestions. in fact i've asked them to email me but they don't have emails. thus i've decided to postpone my holiday plans instead. i've read alvin's post & so i've booked subra/suresh's apartment.
