Equatorial Hotel - 2008/06/04 19:41 When I checked in 3:15pm, I checked the masterbedroom toilet bowl cover was covered and the flush was not functioned, when I opened it, there is big shit inside, also the floor at the room were full of dirt. I called up the housekeeping and reception for 4 times, it tooks 2 hours to fix the problem and cleaned my room again. I suspected the room was not cleaned when previous guests checked out. If done properly, how came such things happened? On second day morning, I have requested for housekeeping but they only come at the evening. Very disappointed and will not stay there again.

Re:Equatorial Hotel - 2008/06/04 21:13 May i check with you if you are taking about the main tower or low rise apartments? Do you have any comments on their low rise apartments? I have booked a 2 bedrooms apt with them next wk and was told it's not in the main tower but at the low rise apt blk.

Re:Equatorial Hotel - 2008/06/05 19:19 I'm sad to hear that from you. My numerous stay in Equatorial had been wonderful though i admit their housekeeping department really needs to be worked on a little. You should've made a big issue out of that, called up their duty manager and fired all your dissatisfaction at him. You might have got yourself a suite, just like me. LOL! Anyway, Equatorial is perhaps the biggest hotel in Cameron Highlands so they have my sympathy. I understand their situation as to clean up so many rooms in such short time really isn't an easy thing. What more, most of their guests will normally check out late, leaving them with only an hour or two to clean up the few hundred rooms there.

Re:Equatorial Hotel - 2008/06/10 14:17 This may sound out of place but:

I was given two towels per day during my stay in Equatorial.

Just thinking that might apply to the apartments too.

2 towels per toilet and basic toiletries. They provides hot water flask, but you have to cook yourself. Mine is 2 rooms apartment, block no 20, 4th floor. Enjoy yourself and looking forward to your comment
