Hi kx, just check the train schedule from Singapore to Tapah before anything else. The last time I looked there was no direct daytime train. From Singapore leaving at about 8a.m. you have to go to KL Sentral station and then wait about 6-7 hours for the next train which means you end up in Tapah somewhere after midnight. I'm not too sure whether you could get the bus at that hour and I hear taxis charge extra. Suggest you catch the express bus from KL direct to CH from Puduraya bus station. There are 4 services a day and there is a 4p.m. bus that you could get. |

Bus is about RM 6.00 from Tapah to Cameron Highlands while taxi is about RM 15.00. Both are okay. Take your pick. |

me 1st time goin CH.Booked a chalet there,Will be travelling in a big grp. Most prob will take train to tapah then either take taxi or bus. I need recommendations on whether to take the bus or taxi up there n approx hw much r the 2 options each.  becoz there will be elderly travelling 2gether, so hope to get the most cnvenient way (pref cheap as well) haA..  thx alot!!
