Don't worry, what comes around goes around, these CON MEN BUDGET HOTELS thought they can CON PEOPLE for the rest of their life. Let's wait and see. Apparently I think they forgot something called karma or the English word RETRIBUTION! Wait and see, time will prove everything! |

Hi Caroline, fully agreed with your judgement. I have never stay in a so called budget hotel in CH. I checked their rates and based on the facilities etc I find its about the same staying in a better place like Equatorial & Strawberry Park. I also notice the Apartments are not cheap or good at all.
Most of the visitors thought budget hotel should be much cheaper. So they never bother to check the rates of better hotels. |

It's quite true, nowadays Cameron Highlands is not cold anymore. I remember I stayed at Chua Gin March this year, I opened up the window (but I closed the curtain) whole night and I did not even have to put on a blanket to sleep either. It's even a bit stuffy inside the room too since there is no fan or air-cond at all. |

Dear Caroline,
What you said is very true. Besides nowadays Cameron Highlands is not really that cold anymore, sometimes we do need a ceiling fan to enjoy a better ventilation in the room. Anyway, ceiling fan won't consume a lot of electricity and they are not expensive too. Why can't the budget hotels in Cameron Highlands install one fan per room? I think they are what the Cantonese say “发钱寒” which means too obssessed, extremely addicted and psycho for earning more money. Well, anyway, I wish all of you a nice day in Cameron Highlands. |

Fat hope!!! Hotel Chua Gin will not provide any food at all although some 3 or 4 star hotels at Kuala Lumpur and Penang can provide a buffet breakfast for only RM120 per room for 2 persons with centralised air-conditioned, TV with ASTRO plus all kinds of freebies e.g. free soap, shampoo, free tea bag or instant coffee, mineral water bottle even lotion and etc. Don't expect all that with Chua Gin. Chua Gin room don't even have ceiling fan, not even mentioned centralised air-conditioned. Remember, all so called "budget" hotels in Cameron Highlands are con men accommodation! They are not really that cheap either especially during weekend, school holidays or public holidays where they will con people with high prices, low quality services because they know majority of visitors only able to visit Cameron Highlands during these periods of time only. So becareful with these so called con men "budget" hotel! |
