Gray I have a trip to CH in this 28 to 30 Jan 2009. I have interested in some of the place but i don't know how to arrange my time on it to fulfill my 3 days trip. Please help out this and i appreciate that. Thanks

Here is the list:

1. Mossy Forest ( Can i go here by myself without taking any package from tour agency?)

2. Cactus Point

3. Orchid Farm

4. Tea Plantation (which should i go coz there are so many tea plantation over there and i wish to have a cup of tea and small dish over there)

5. Strawberry Farm

6. Rose Valley

7. Sunrise Spectacular from Titiwangsa tour & Travel Sdn Bhd (should I book this before i went there?)

9. And also night market in CH which cannot miss. (but which i should go coz i check there got a few night market right?)

so, please advise, I'll be going up to CH from KL by 28 Jan morning 6 or 7 am with slow drive. And will use Simpang Pulai tol entrance then go up CH from there. On the way up, Is there any place i can stop and have a rest and eat? or it will better to eat when reach to CH. So, I aim to be reach at the CH at about 11am. Then will go to book the Sunrise Spectacular package and have a lunch then check in at The Smokehouse.

And I wish to have a look of the sunset at tea plantation field. Thanks ya. I have do a lot of research but I still think it would better to ask someone to recommend. Thanks
SinChee Your stay is too short to cover all, if this is your first trip and you don't know where they are located. If that is the case, then I would suggest you take-up one of those local tours. It doesn't covers all the places you indicated, but a fair bit of them. It will also save you the hassle of looking for them.

You have to take out your Waterfall. That is way out. You will waste alot of time travelling to and from that place. But if you are driving, than take the Tapah route. You should pass the waterfall. You can miss it and you can stop there awhile and enjoy the place, before proceeding up.
Ronny Hi all,

i will go to CH on 16-17 Nov, staying 1 night then go to Penang. I will reach on 16 noon and leave on 17 afternoon. This website is very comprehensive and helpful!!

I have compiled a list of places to go in Cameron Highlands and would like to get your feedback on:

- which places that i should prioritize to visit, considering the short time that I have?

- what is the most logical order of visiting these places based on their location?

Below is the list of places that i have compiled from people's suggestions in this forum:

1. Rose Center Kea Farm (near EQ).

2. Boh tea plantation & factory

3. Cameron Valley Tea Plantation.

4. Strawberry farm: Mountain Strawberry Farm Or big strawberry farm?

5. Ee Feng Gu Bee Farm.

6. Cactus Point & Multicrop Central Market.

7. Big Red Strawberry Farm

8. Gunung Brinchang. Can I go there myself or must take tour guide?

9. Smokehouse hotel. Worth visiting?

10. Lakehouse hotel. Worth visiting?

11. Robinson Falls. Worth visiting?

Thanks much everyone!

Ronny
darrentan hi,

a good tracking experience is to follow jungle track #10 leading up to Gunung Jasar in tanahrata. you get a very good view of CH on top.you start behind Oly Apartment, visit Tan's Camellia Garden at the start and end up in Orange asli village. to make your day, you can walk out to golf course, looking for Smoke House, which will lead you to Forest Dept. Following the track by the river will take you to the Parit Waterfall.take your break.folloing the river further will take you back to the town.

Good luck n enjoy.....

i will go CH next month, and i never go there before.

so,i need some info about CH travel point!

please provide me some info!

Thanks!

1) If you're driving. Stop by the Iskandar Waterfall, along the Tapah route up to CH.

2) Mardi in Tanah Rata.

3) Gunung Brinchang.

4) Kea Farm. There are a lot more attraction along this stretch. You will probably spent some time here.

5) Night Market in Brinchang

6) SP Boh Tea plantation.

7) Bharat Tea plantation.

8) Cactus Valley.

9) Strawberry farms (too many here to choose).

10) Vegetable farms. (similar to Strawberry farms, too many but you can just stop and appreciate).

Here are only some of the things to do. For more information, look at the Attraction section. If you don't know how to go to those attractions, then join the daily tour group. If you're driving and need to know how to go up CH, look at the Destination Guide.

Hope this helps to kick start your search.

Andrew Hello Jacky u are welcome to enquire about CH. Both Admin and Tin Tin are right, glad you found this site, browse further and u will find lots of information about CH. Then you may ask for information on the place you intend to visit. We are all willing to help. But But... don't use !!! mark at the end of your request, it becomes a demand instead of a request. Well I know you are not demanding, it must be more on the exciting thoughts of going to Cameron Highland. Ha.. Ha.. Go! Jacky Go!
