Chris Ya, we cant expect to get cheap food from tourist hot spot, but we can definitely can get reasonable food here. This places here are those reasonable place that you should try and find out the suprise yourself.

1) Yong Teng Restaurant at Tanah Rata ( It is those blue local stalls that next to the Maybank at behind the main street of Tanah Rata) You can from great pancakes, chicken chop, fried mee n rice, soup, nasi lemak, and varieties of local cuisine here with reasonable price.

2) Cameron Valley tea house at the road side of 5 min distance before we reach Tanah Rata town from Tapah Road. Nice environment, the most important easy to reach and it is a great place too.

3) Roselane steak house(i guess this is the name, it only mention there as Roselane) It located at the main street of the Tanah Rata town, you feel a great Christmas environment here, plus CH cool weather it can makes you feel so Christmas when you have your dinner here..

4) T-Cafe, good place, good environment, good food, good srevices, good reasonable price, everythg seems to be good to me here. 5 cups of teas, 2 scones 2 set of sandwiches, 1 apple pie and 1 choco crepe = RM 33++,

5) Restaurant Highland at Brinchang town( it is behind the roll of shop behind the main street of Brinchang town, it is behind the roll of shop of Yoo Hoo restaurant) Unique steamboat and worth to try, warm dinner.

Meg Dear Dot,

I'm sorry to say that in a tourism area like Cameron Highlands, there is no cheap vegetarian food. I can only say that they are reasonably priced. Maybe you can try the vegetarian steamboat at the Water Cress Valley in Kea Farm area, or I'm supposed there is an Indian shop serving vegetarian food too in Brinchang or you may rent an aprtment to cook your vegetarian food since the vegetable is so fresh in Cameron Highlands.
Dot Hi chef and everyone,

Im planning to go to CH end of this month with my family. I seriously need help on food guide as we are vegetarians. Are there any reasonably priced vegan food in CH?

Pls advise, thank you.
