Tony Hi,

I am Malaysian. Been going up to CH every year since '99. Just love the place. BTW, you are quite regular here too.
chiehchee Hi Tony,

Tony I remember a few years ago when I trekked past Robinson Falls until a point where the trail ends at a deep ravine but you can still continue the trail on the left. I did not proceed as the trail did not look safe. Just to check, does the trail on the left lead to Habu?

Anyway, this time around I took the Parit Falls trail as I was bringing my 3 yr old boy with me. Had a good workout carrying him and trekking at the same time. BTW, guys do you know where I can get detailed maps of all the trails in CH on the net or maybe a site that can give me some guidance on the trails?
chiehchee Hi There,

Good to have something positive came out from it,

Lucky you told me, I was planning for it on my coming trip....however I'll still going, hopefully someone will inform the Pejabat Hutan about the matter or other authority people to clear the mess.

will search on the net for the info....anyone can help...Chief?

Thanks.

hubloo Trekkers intending to do trek route no. 9A (this is the trail that continues from Robinson Falls to the temple) must take caution because the trail is make almost inaccessible by fallen trees and soft soil conditions on the paths due to rain over the past few days.

This trail is definitely not recommeded for families with young children. Even my kids (17, 15 & youngest 14+) had their confidence shaken by the hazardous trail that we choose to continue in a bid to reach the end despite the obstacles.

Looking back now, we are glad that we came thru unscathed and are more united as a result of the bonding and care to look out for one another arising from the experience.

Having said that, we are definitely going back to CH (for more!) as this place have left a very deep and wonderful impression on all of us. Cheers!!
