Yeah, Bala Chalet with their "angmo" or "gwailo" privilege and friendly service attitude sometimes ticks off some locals or Asians like us. Bala Chalet better improve fast on this matter. Well, have a nice day in Cameron Highlands!  |

Physical conditions like cleanliness and room setting and its tudor style environment are not bad. Bala Chalet is worth to consider, but staff wise I'm a bit unsatistifed about it. From my observation, Bala Chalet staff and even its owner Mr. Bala are quite keen on "entertaining/serving" caucasian customers/tourists. But Asian wise, they lack a bit of sufficient attitude to attend Asian customers like us. So, pick your choice! Have a nice stay in Cameron Highlands!  |

i am going there with my wife on this weekend as well. we will be staying in bala's chalet (05-4911660). we have never stayed there before but based on survey it seems not bad. |

I'm trying to plan a getaway for my darling at CH, departing this friday. However, reading much the info here and postings, am a little confused of what to choose. Though I don't mind staying at hotels but I'd prefer something like casa de la rosa or the lakehouse. Which of this that is preferable or would guys suggest some other places ??
I found that there are lots of tours offered, which tour operator is much recommended? Thanx!  |
