Hello Fiona, I am sorry, I have no comments on the apartments you booked. I have not stay there before. Well tell us about your stay after your trip. Wish u all a pleasant trip. |

Thanks Andrew. You've been helpful!
You are an adventurous man!
A group of us are heading up actually and there would be 22 of us. I was thinking of Arabella Apartment as an alternative. Any thoughts on that place? |

Hi Kelly, just decide and go,no need to wait. But please book your room first because u are going on an weekend. If weekdays u need not book.
I suppose u are going from the south. Just follow the sign that goes to Ipoh. Then went u reach Tapah there is a sign that shows to Cameron Highlands. I by pass this exit, I went further about 40-50km and exit at Simpang Pulai toll.
After paying the toll fee turn right at the junction and keep right because you will be turning right again at the cross road junction which is about 200 to 300 meters only. There is a road sign board showing to C Highlands again. Just follow and u are already on track.
Its all the way up till u see a sign that shows u to turn right to C Highlands. You will pass a couple of towns kg. Raja, kuala terla, tringkap and soon you are at C Highlands' equatorial hotel on the left, then kea farm, Brinchang-Tanah Rata-Ringlets. After Ringlets the road goes to Tapah. So if you take the Tapah exit to go up to C Highlands, its the other way round. Will reach ringlets, then Tanah Rata, Brinchang and kea farm.
My advise is go by the Simpang Pulai way. I have actually tried both ways. Time almost the same but the tapah way is very winding, narrow, more blind corners. Whereas the Simpang Pulai way, very safe, not steep, wider road, nice and clear views. Put it this way, you won't get lost from both points of entry to C Highlands. And once you are on C H, as long as u don't venture into a side track too deep, you won't get lost. Security wise better than JB, KL etc.
Go! Go! Go! you will not regret even just with your hubby. Both my trips this year was with my wife only. |
