The main economic activity in Cameron Highlands beside tourism is Agriculture. The highlands produce vegetables all year round and these are suplied all over the country as well as Singapore. Vegetable farms are located throughout the highlands and most of these are off limits to tourists due to its accessibility. These are mainly located in Kapmung Raja, Kuala Terla, Tringkap, Ringlet and Bertam Valley.
Due to the increasing tourist arrivals, there have been more smaller farms cropping up all over the highlands. These farms produce everything from flowers and vegetables to strawberries. These are primarily for walk in tourists.
There are also a few organic farms in the highlands and visit can be arranged by some tour companies
